Introduction to Portrait Drawing and Painting

A fine art school and classical atelier located in Honolulu, Hawaii. We offer classical drawing and painting workshops to students of all skill levels from beginner to advanced. Working from live models and using traditional techniques such as sight size, our classes cover a wide variety of topics. Figure drawing classes, figure painting classes, portrait drawing classes, portrait painting classes, master copy classes, still life painting classes, landscape painting classes, and color and composition classes are all available. We also offer private drawing and painting lessons to students of all ages and backgrounds. All of our classes are aimed to improve a student's skill and proficiency with Oil paints and drawing materials such as charcoal and graphite. Each friday we offer a open figure model session to public where artist around Oahu are invited to come and draw or paint from live models.
