Tell us what we got wrong
This site lives or dies on whether the prices and dates are right, and things change faster than any one person can check. If you have spotted something stale, or you run a studio and we have you listed wrong, that email is genuinely the most valuable thing we receive.
Everything goes to hello@kraftstories.com and a person reads it. There is no ticket system and no bot.
Something here is wrong
A price that has changed, a studio that has moved, a class that no longer runs, a link that goes nowhere. This is the most useful message you can send us and it goes to the front of the queue.
We fix and re-date the page, usually the same day.
Or email it directly →You have an event to list
Use the form — it goes straight into the same review queue as everything else, and it is free. If you would rather just email it, that works too.
No fee, no paid placement, no account needed.
Go to the form →Partnership, press or something else
Venues wanting to be read regularly, journalists, and anyone who wants to talk about how the index is built. We are a small operation, so expect a real reply rather than a fast one.
Usually a couple of days, sometimes longer in a busy week.

Where
Chinatown, Honolulu
15 N Pauahi St — the KraftStories studio. Not an office; there is usually a class on.
The disclosure
We run a studio too
So every competitor is listed on the same terms, with the same prices and caveats.
Asked often
How do events get on the site?
Two ways. Most of it comes from reading about fifty Oʻahu venues and studios directly — their own calendars, not a feed or an aggregator — and the rest comes from people sending things in. Either way a person checks the listing against the venue’s own page before it goes live, and the date of that check is printed on the page.
Do you charge for a listing?
No, and we do not sell placement. The order things appear in is never for sale, which is the only reason a ranking here is worth anything.
Who is behind this?
KraftStories, a craft studio in Chinatown. That is a conflict of interest, so we disclose it wherever the studio appears and list every competitor on the same terms, with the same prices and the same caveats.
Do you cover the other islands?
No. Oʻahu only, on purpose. A lot of Hawaiʻi guides quietly mix in Maui and Hawaiʻi Island listings, and it is how you end up driving to a class that is a plane ride away.
Can I get the data?
Ask. If you are doing something useful for the community with it, we would rather help than have you scrape it.
