About Honolulu Museum of Art
The Honolulu Museum of Art (HoMA) is Hawaii's largest private visual arts institution, housing over 50,000 works of art spanning 5,000 years of world culture. The museum's collection includes significant holdings of Asian art, European and American paintings, decorative arts, and contemporary works.
The museum campus features the original 1927 building designed by Bertram Goodhue, as well as the modern Luce Pavilion Complex. The beautiful courtyards and gardens make it a peaceful oasis in the heart of Honolulu.
HoMA is known for its exceptional Asian art collection, particularly Japanese woodblock prints, Chinese ceramics, and Korean art. The museum also hosts rotating exhibitions and special events throughout the year.
