About Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii
The Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii (JCCH) is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and sharing the history, culture, and heritage of Japanese Americans in Hawaii. The center features permanent and rotating exhibitions that tell the story of Japanese immigration to Hawaii and their contributions to the islands.
The center includes the Okage Sama De exhibit, which chronicles the journey of Japanese immigrants to Hawaii, and the Honouliuli National Historic Site exhibit, which tells the story of the internment camp during World War II.
JCCH also offers cultural programs, language classes, and community events that celebrate Japanese culture and traditions.
