Free telescope viewing from Ka Lewa Lānai, the fourth-floor rooftop deck on Building A at Royal Hawaiian Center. Sessions run monthly on a Sunday evening and each is built around whatever is actually up that night: the moon on 20 September (7–9pm), the moon and Saturn on 18 October (6:30–8:30pm), Saturn on 29 November, and the moon and Saturn again on 20 December. No ticket and no booking — first come, first served. The centre calls it off without notice if the sky closes in, so it is worth checking before you drive in.
