Island Pulse: Island Roots & Reggae Night with Doklah

Capitol Modern's third-Friday reggae night on 18 September, 5:30 to 9:30pm, with Doklah headlining and opening sets from Sharp Left Works (a producer showcase) and Valley Rockers featuring Nick Kurosawa, hosted by Miss Lulu. It is free and all ages: the galleries stay open, the Art + Flea market sets up with local artists and vendors, and there is food and drink on site. Island Pulse runs every third Friday of the month, co-presented with Mundo Reggae, and is the easiest free Friday night downtown once First Friday has passed.
