💻 Digital Art | Ages 11–16 A hands-on class for students who want to create art and illustrations using an iPad. Students will learn how to use digital drawing and painting tools while building many of the same art skills used in traditional drawing and painting. Students will explore: ✏️ Digital drawing and painting 🎨 Digital brushes, coloring, and shading 🗂️ Using layers to build and edit artwork 👤 Character and anime-style design 🖼️ Recreating artwork inspired by famous artists 💡 Graphic design and basic design principles 🌈 Color and composition Through creative projects, students will learn how to sketch, color, shade, organize artwork with layers, experiment with different digital brushes and effects, and design their own characters and illustrations. Best for: Students who enjoy drawing, illustration, character design, anime, graphic design, or creating art with technology and want to become more comfortable creating their own digital artwork. Students will also have the opportunity to share and celebrate their artwork at the Art Tent Studio Exhibition & Open House at the end of the semester.
