✏️ Drawing | Ages 6–8 Taught by Teaching Artist Ms. Lauren Okano, this class helps young artists build their drawing skills while exploring different ways to add color, texture, and detail to their artwork. Through guided projects, students will learn new techniques while being encouraged to use their own ideas and creativity. Students may explore: ✏️ Colored pencil drawing 🎨 Watercolor pencils and watercolor 🖍️ Oil and soft pastels 🖊️ Ink 🖼️ Painting on canvas 🏺 3D projects that combine sculpting and painting Through fun, age-appropriate projects, students will practice drawing shapes and proportions, using color, creating light and shadow, adding details and textures, and turning their ideas into finished artwork. Best for: Kids who enjoy drawing and want to build their skills, try different art materials, and become more confident creating their own artwork.
