An OurTalks evening with two photographers at OurSpace, the makerspace at 1052 Waimanu St in Kakaʻako: Steve McCurry, the Magnum photographer best known for the 1984 “Afghan Girl” National Geographic cover, and Alan Schaller, the London street photographer who founded Street Photography International. Wednesday August 26, 5–7 PM. Free general admission via Zeffy, with an optional donation to OurSpace. The biggest name yet in the OurTalks series — earlier talks this year were with local artists Crystal DeRosier (Aug 14) and Boz Schurr (May 29) — and one of only two free artist talks on our calendar this month.
