The 2026 hōʻike — the annual public showcase — of hālau Nā Maka O Puʻuwai Aloha at the Hawaii Theatre, 1130 Bethel St in downtown Honolulu, September 4–6. A hōʻike is where a hula school presents a year's work on stage, so this is a full evening of hula kahiko and ʻauana rather than a short set.
