Kawika Trask Trio at the Royal Grove

An hour of live Hawaiian music in the Royal Grove, the open courtyard at the centre of the Royal Hawaiian Center, every Tuesday from half past five. Free, no ticket, no minimum — you can stand at the back with a shave ice and leave when you like, which is most of the appeal. The Grove sits between Kalākaua Avenue and the coconut trees, so it is a five-minute walk from anywhere in central Waikīkī. Route 2, 8, 19, 20 or 23 along Kalākaua.
