Lisa Matsumoto's Once upon One Kapakahi Time

About

Lisa Matsumoto's Once Upon One Kapakahi Time retells fairy tales in Hawaiʻi Pidgin, according to our calendar, and Manoa Valley Theatre presents it from June 24 to July 11, 2027. The theatre's website lists it as a Summer 2027 add-on and does not give a synopsis, director, performance days, curtain times or running time, so check its ticketing site for the schedule. No age rating is printed. Because it reworks familiar fairy tales, it is likely to suit families, but confirm with the box office before bringing young children. Single-ticket prices are not printed on the page. The theatre states that this add-on is not included in its Pick Your Pack subscriptions, which start at $200 for the regular season, so plan to buy tickets for it separately. Manoa Valley Theatre is at 2833 E Manoa Road in Mānoa, Honolulu, and parking is not mentioned on the page. On our calendar this is the seventh of eight Manoa Valley Theatre productions, after Folks You Meet in Longs, which ends May 30, and before Shakespeare in Love, which opens July 15. Diamond Head Theatre opens Hairspray on July 23, just after this run ends.
