Lei Making Lessons

A free lei-making lesson every Friday at 11:30 AM at Royal Hawaiian Center, 2201 Kalākaua Ave in Waikīkī, you keep the lei you make. Free, no registration. RHC runs five free cultural lessons a week (ʻukulele Mon, hula Tue, lauhala Wed, keiki hula Thu, lei Fri, all 11:30 AM) plus nightly music at the Royal Grove — the densest run of free Hawaiian cultural programming on our calendar. Our lei-making guide lists paid, longer workshops elsewhere on the island if you want to go deeper.
