A day on the North Shore, by the list
The North Shore is an hour or so from Honolulu, so most people give it a full day. These lists cover Haleʻiwa town and the beaches and trucks along Kamehameha Highway, so you can plan the drive around them.
In winter the surf is the show and the water can be dangerous; in summer it is usually calm enough to swim. The beach notes say which is which.
