Kaimana Beach Hotel

A small oceanfront hotel at the quiet Diamond Head end of Waikīkī, facing Sans Souci beach and backing onto Kapiʻolani Park. Its Kaimana Ballroom is used for forums, workshops and community gatherings rather than the luau-and-conference traffic further down Kalākaua, which makes it one of the more civilised rooms in Waikīkī for a half-day event.

A half-day wāhine wellness forum in the Kaimana Ballroom at Kaimana Beach Hotel, noon to 3pm on Sunday 27 September. The billing is unusually direct for an event of this kind — hormonal health, pelvic floor, incontinence, UTIs, bone health and HRT, across motherhood, perimenopause and menopause — and it runs as expert panel discussions rather than a single keynote. The speakers are Dr Diana Kumar, an OB/GYN and co-founder of Gliss Wellness who specialises in menopause treatment; Dr Leah Karp, a pelvic floor physical therapist working in chronic pain and complex conditions; and Wainani Arnold, a movement specialist with twenty years helping women move with strength. Seats are limited and ticketed with early-bird pricing, though neither the flyer nor the organiser's site publishes a figure.
