🖌️ Painting | Ages 11–16 A more focused art class for students who want to strengthen their drawing and painting skills and develop their own artistic style. Students will work with watercolor and acrylic paint while learning techniques for creating more detailed, polished, and expressive artwork. Students will explore: 🎨 Watercolor and acrylic painting ✏️ Drawing and perspective 🌗 Light, shadow, and shading 🌈 Mixing and using colors 🖼️ Planning and arranging a composition 👩‍🎨 Developing their own artistic style Through hands-on projects, students will practice creating depth and dimension, using color intentionally, working with light and shadow, planning stronger compositions, and making their own creative choices as they become more confident and independent artists. Best for: Students who enjoy drawing and painting and want to improve their technique, create more developed artwork, and explore their own style and ideas. Students will also have the opportunity to share and celebrate their artwork at the Art Tent Studio Exhibition & Open House at the end of the semester.
