Students can finish an existing project, practice their sewing skills, or start something completely new. Projects may include: 👜 Bags and accessories 🧸 Plushies 🏠 Home décor 👕 Clothing ✂️ And more! Along the way, students will continue practicing skills such as reading patterns, measuring, cutting fabric, using a sewing machine, and hand stitching. 🎨 Mixed Media Drawing & Painting | Ages 7–10 In this creative art class, students will draw, paint, and experiment with different art materials while learning new ways to create their own 2D artwork. Each week features a fun project inspired by themes such as nature, animals, landscapes, architecture, seasons, cultures, and famous artists. 🌟 Creative Art Lab | Ages 7–10 Explore • Invent • Create A hands-on class for young artists who want to explore more than traditional drawing and painting. Each month, students will try something different—from animation and product design to printmaking and handmade crafts—while learning how to turn their own ideas into creative projects. Best for: Kids who enjoy making, experimenting, storytelling, animation, designing, and trying new ways to create. 🌊 September | Stop Motion Animation Students will create their own short stop motion videos by taking a series of photos that make their characters appear to move. They'll experiment with LEGO®, pixel art, and ocean- and animal-themed characters while learning the basics of animation and storytelling. 🛍️ October | Creative Maker Market Students will design and make their own products, such as clay keychains, air-dry clay plates, pinch pots, shrink-plastic charms, and Hawaiian lei. They'll also learn how a small creative business works by choosing prices, creating a brand, and designing simple promotional flyers. Selected projects may be displayed and sold in the Art Tent Store (30% commission applies). 🎄 November | Holiday Design Studio Students will explore different ways to make holiday art and decorations, including gelli plate and block printing, handmade Christmas cards, animated holiday greeting videos, and miniature Christmas village pieces made with modeling clay. 🎁 December | Handmade Holiday Gifts Students will design and create their own handmade gifts and keepsakes to take home or give to family and friends. Projects may include clay keychains, air-dry clay plates, pinch pots, and other seasonal creations.
