HoMA's entry point to clay at the Honolulu Museum of Art School, 1111 Victoria St (across from the museum): hand-building and wheel basics, glazing and firing over the term. October 8 to December 10, $305, no experience needed. A second section starts October 17. With 12 ceramics courses this fall, HoMA has the widest clay programme on Oʻahu; Fishcake and Mudd Studio run shorter workshops if a ten-week commitment is too much.
