Honolulu Museum of Art School
The teaching arm of the Honolulu Museum of Art, in the old Linekona School building across Victoria Street from the museum. It runs the deepest studio programme on Oʻahu — ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking, fiber arts and kids' courses — mostly as ten-week terms starting in October and January, plus a handful of one-evening workshops. Terms fill; the beginner wheel sections go first.

Monoprinting

Monoprinting is the one printmaking technique where every pull is unique, so it suits people who want to paint but like the accident that a press introduces.
