Honolulu Museum of Art School
The teaching arm of the Honolulu Museum of Art, in the old Linekona School building across Victoria Street from the museum. It runs the deepest studio programme on Oʻahu — ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking, fiber arts and kids' courses — mostly as ten-week terms starting in October and January, plus a handful of one-evening workshops. The school offers other short Gelli-style evenings on this calendar. Botanical Monoprints is on November 20 at $37, and Gelli Plate: Holiday Cards is on December 4 at $50. For a longer commitment, ten-week classes such as Monoprinting, Relief Printmaking and Intaglio run this fall at the same school.$37
