Stickers, T-shirts, & Prints (ages 13-15)

About

Stickers, T-shirts, & Prints (Ages 13-15) is a ten-session screen printing class for teens at the Honolulu Museum of Art School, 1111 Victoria Street, Honolulu, taught by teaching artist Paul Galang. Students design and screen print their own stickers, T-shirts and prints. They explore image-making methods including hand drawing and light-sensitive image transfer, work up to multicolor prints, and make regular visits to the Museum. The class meets Sundays from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., October 18 through December 20, 2026, for ages 13 to 15. It is tagged Beginner, so no prior screen printing experience is expected, and the page lists no other prerequisites or separate materials fee. The price is $318, with no member or tiered pricing printed. The page shows registration as closed (it closed on October 4), so ask the school about openings before planning around it. On the same Sunday afternoon at the school, Ceramics (Ages 13-15) is the other teen class, running October 18 through December 13. Older teens aged 16 and up can look at Screenprinting Next Steps, an intermediate Saturday class from October 17, or Relief Printmaking on Saturday mornings. Both are listed on this Honolulu calendar.
