YMCA of Honolulu
The island's largest provider of keiki day camps, running school-break programmes at six branches — Kaimuki, Kalihi, Leeward, Mililani, Nuʻuanu and Windward — plus the overnight-capable Camp Erdman out at Mokulēʻia. Their fall, winter and spring break camps cover the full working day, which is the practical reason most families use them, and the Y Teen Club for grades 6 to 12 is free at five of the six branches. Need-based financial aid is available and applied for through the branch rather than online.

Fall Break Day Camp (Grades K–5)
Oct 5 – Oct 9
The YMCA's October break day camp, 5 to 9 October, 7am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, for grades K through 5. The hours are the point: it covers a full working day at either end, which most school-break camps on the island do not. It runs at six branches — Kaimuki, Kalihi, Leeward, Mililani, Nuʻuanu and Windward — and at Camp Erdman out at Mokulēʻia, where the day is shorter at 8:30am to 4:30pm. Need-based financial aid is available and is arranged through the branch rather than online.

Y Teen Club, Fall Break (Grades 6–12)
Oct 5 – Oct 9
A free school-break programme for grades 6 to 12 during the October break, 5 to 9 October, at the Kaimuki, Kalihi, Leeward, Mililani and Nuʻuanu YMCAs. Free is not a discount here — the Y runs Teen Club at no charge at those five branches, which makes it one of the very few full-week teen options on the island that costs nothing. The Windward branch is the exception and charges the standard day-camp rate. Teens who are not already Y members can still join.

Winter Break Day Camp
Dec 21 – Dec 31
The YMCA's winter school-break camp, running 21 to 31 December across its Oʻahu branches. The Y has published the dates but not yet the rates or the branch list for this session; its fall break camp ran $317 a week, or $285 for Y family members, which is the reasonable expectation until winter pricing is posted. Worth watching if you need cover over the school holidays, because the Y's camps are the ones that span a full working day. Need-based financial aid is available.
