El Dorado Casting Lab

A working jewellery casting lab and teaching studio on Bishop Street, and the only place on the island where you can learn the whole chain under one roof — wax carving, metalsmithing, stone setting, enamel and CAD. It is a trade lab first: casting is what the business does, and the classes run on the same benches and equipment, taught by jewellers who work there. Terms are long by Oʻahu standards, mostly eight to ten weeks of one weekly session, which is what it takes to get from carving a wax to wearing a cast ring. A member of the Hawaii Jewelers Association.
